Instructions for completing the online safety training
Required for all laboratory assistants

 

1.) Access the launch page.

2.) Click on select "Launch the UCO Learning Center" link that is provided

3.) Log in with your UCONNECT username and password

4.) Once logged in, select "CATALOG" from the list on the left.

5.)  In the CATALOG area, select "UCO Annual Training" from the file menu.

6.) Select "Safety Training" folder and launch "UCO Safety Training" (Online Modules).

7.) Four modules come up. When you scroll over them, you should see an option to [Launch] or [Show Details]. Select [Launch]

8.) You are only required to complete the three modules:

• Hazard Communication

• Bloodborne Pathogens

• Fire Safety and Preparedness

9.) Another request to run an application comes up. Accept and complete the module.

When you've completed your training, select the "My Progress" option and then select the "Completed" tab. There you will be able to print out a certificate of completion. Print these and return them to me.
